Judith Anne (Nixon) Wing

Judith Anne Wing, of Cadillac, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Sunnyside Senior Living. She was 81.

Judy was born on July 26, 1943 to Amos and Alberta (Greenhalge) Nixon in Cadillac, Michigan. On October 27, 1962 she entered into marriage with Donald Allen Wing at the Cherry Grove Church of the Nazarene. The couple spent 61 years together, until his time of passing on April 19, 2023. She spent her career working in human resources for over 33 years, including for GMI and later for Kettering University. At Kettering University, she specialized in the business and industry development center and set a typing standard for the hiring center. Judy was actively involved in the community and enjoyed being apart of the Snowmobile Club and volunteering her time helping supply medical equipment at the Stehouwer Free Clinic. She was a faithful member of the Cherry Grove Church of the Nazarene. Judy cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Judy is survived by her two sons, Keith (Michelle) Wing of Harrietta, and Kevin (Michelle) Wing of Cadillac; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia (Ken) Reinink; brothers, Frank (Rose) Nixon, Mark (Carol) Nixon, Ray (Rita) Nixon, and Charlie (Marikae) Nixon; sisters-in-law, Nancy Nixon, and Judy (Art) Vandercook of Cadillac; brother-in-law, Terry (Terri) Wing of Grand Rapids; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents, Amos and Alberta; a granddaughter, Ashley Danielle Wing; and a brother, Rex Nixon.
  
A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Cherry Grove Township Cemetery. Pastor Jeremy Gomez will preside.
