Kaye Francis (Fox) Tyrrell

Kaye Francis Tyrrell, 84, of  Prudenville passed away on Thursday November 14, 2024 at Munson Healthcare in Traverse City.

Kaye was born on January 16, 1940 in Lansing, Michigan to William Raymond and Mary Dell (Smith) Fox. She grew up in the Lansing area before moving to the Prudenville area where she married Bruce Tyrrell on June 10, 1967.  She was married to her deceased husband, Kenneth Lewis Sulkowski from 1955 to 1966.  Kaye was a  homemaker and mother of three children. Kaye enjoyed reading, swimming,cooking, knitting, and being outdoors. Being the oldest of seven siblings , she used her "carry-on"  philosophy throughout her life. She was a wonderful spouse and mother, spending her time teaching her children and grandchildren everything she knew about life.  Like her father, she was very social, and would engage in conversation with strangers at every opportunity  

Surviving Kaye Tyrrell are her loving husband of  57 years, Bruce Tyrrell of Prudenville; daughter, Sherri (Michael) Farrer of Traverse City; grandchildren, Nicole Baker, Kristle Yetter, Kenny Sulkowski, Darrell Sulkowski, Mikenzie LaBrecque, Mike Spalaney, David Farrer, Brian Farrer, Steve Farrer, and Tom Farrer; great grandchildren, Shauntia Gamble, Damien Baker, Brianna Baker, Aubyn Yetter,  Norah Farrer, Colin Farrer, Jade LaBrecque, Tobias LaBrecque, Michele Spalaney, Sam Spalaney, Evelyn Embry, Anna Coronado, Phillip Sulkowski, Kieran Sulkowski, Jordan Sulkowski, Ashaleigh Sulkowski, Lexi Sulkowski, and Jace Sulkowski; two sisters, Tina Fox of FL, Tami Fox of Harrison; two daughters -in-law, Deidra Tyrell(spouse of Randall Tyrell), and Faye Sulkowski(spouse of Michael Sulkowski); several nieces and nephews. 

Kaye was preceded in death by father, William R Fox, mother, Mary Dell Fox, son, Randall Tyrrell, son, Michael Sulkowski, brother, Carey Fox, brother, Jim Fox, sister, Connie Akridge, sister, Vicki Kelly. Kaye has now joined her passed family and best friend, Linda Dezess.  She will be greatly missed by Al Dezess, her loving relatives, and friends,

A Celebration of Life Service for Kaye Francis Tyrrell will be held in the spring.  Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake.
