Kerry Lynn Rose

Kerry Lynn Rose, 67, of Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday July 13, 2025 in Pontiac surrounded by his loving family.

Kerry was born on August 26, 1957 in Pontiac, Michigan to Jerry and Gracia (Black) Rose.  He grew up in the Waterford area and graduated from Waterford Mott High School in 1975. Kerry was a line worker at GM and after 30 years, he happily retired. He enjoyed hunting, driving around in his Camaro, riding his snowmobile, taking his nieces and nephews out on his Baja speed boat, and spending time with his family.

Surviving Kerry are his brothers, Gregory(Kathy) Rose of Waterford, and Kevin Rose of Lowell; sisters, Kimberly Danton of Waterford,  and Cheryl(Mark) Schasser of Croswell; many nieces and nephews. Proceeding him in death are his parents, Jerry and Gracia Rose and nephew Michael Rose.

Visitation for Kerry Lynn Rose will be held at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel on Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm.  Interment will be in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi.  Memorial contributions in Kerry's memory are asked to be directed to the family.  Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
