Larry D. Burton Jr.

Lake City - Larry Dean Burton Jr., of Cadillac passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Weeping Willow AFC Home. He was 55.

He was born on May 18, 1967, in Cadillac, Michigan to Larry and Carolyn (Eastman) Burton. He attended high school and went on to spend time working Hope Network in Cadillac.

Larry enjoyed working math problems, raking leaves, and loved bowling. He participated at Footprints In Time at the St. John Lutheran Church in Lake City, and was a very liked guy by all those that came across his path.  Larry found great joy in the Disney's Minnion's, was always seen carrying his "Tigger" with him, and will be remembered by many.

Larry is survived by his father, Larry D. Burton, Sr. of Cadillac, sister, Pam (Dave) Burton; brother, Mike Burton; step-siblings, Kaylene (Scott) Shattuck, Morris "Morey" (Debra) Cotton, Michael (Shannon) Cotton; two nephews, Steven and Jacob; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Burton; step-mother, Erline Burton; sister, Jeannie Musk 

Funeral services will take place at 1pm, on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will follow at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.   Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of Larry Burton Sr.
