Linda Jean (Travelbee) Edwards

Linda Edwards, age 74, passed away on January 09, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on February 02, 1947 to Francis and Georgia Travelbee. She met her husband, Brian Edwards at Houghton Lake Roller Rink and married on June 19, 1965. She was employed at several restaurants in the Houghton Lake area as a cook.  Her favorite restaurant to work at was Whitehead’s for Chet and Em.  Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, and watching the wildlife through her living room windows.

She was preceded in death by her husband Brian of 56 years, her parents, and all of her siblings.  She is survived by her 3 sons; Brian (Sylvia) Edwards of El Paso, Texas; Michael (Faith) Edwards of Marinette, Wisconsin; and Francis (Angela) Edwards of Falmouth, Michigan.  She has 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  She has several nieces and nephews all over United States.

She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends, especially her cat Missy Moo.  Final arrangements have been made through Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake. Graveside service will be on Sunday August 21, 2022 at 10:30 am at Star City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Munson Healthcare Hospice of Cadillac.
