Linda Lee Lewis

Linda Lee Lewis, of the Manton and Traverse City areas, and formerly of Santa Anna, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. She was 77.

Linda was born on October 15, 1947 to Walter and Mary (Easily) Lewis in Pontiac, Michigan. She had a very caring and kind soul. Linda dedicated her career to serving others, and worked as a nurses aide for over 20 years while residing in the Coleman, Texas area. In her spare time, she could often be found playing Bingo or going shopping. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
Linda is survived by her loving children, Kathy (Joe) Briggs of Manton and Mandy (Charles) Hipkins of Texas; grandchildren, Chris Franks (Allison Korson), Danielle Franks, Leeann Hipkins, Allan Hipkins, James (Lorraine) Singleton, Cheri (Jerry) Briseno, Stephine (Kirk) Stewart, Samantha Thorne, and Heather Klassen (Keaton Prather); 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geri Sterken and Barb (Jim) Sherman; two nieces and one nephew; and many other loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Lewis; two daughters, Lori Singleton and Melissa Thorne; and a brother-in-law, Howard Sterken.
  
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
