Lindsay M. (Kelly) Kelly

Lindsay M. Kelly, age 43, of Houghton Lake, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospital-Butterworth with her loving family by her side.

Lindsay was born on June 29, 1982, in Cadillac, Michigan, to Ken and Sue (Hamlin) Kelly. Lindsay graduated from Houghton Lake High School and later earned her Associate's Degree in RHIT (Registered Health Information Technology). She was a pharmacy Technician for 19 years with Kronner's Pharmacy before starting with MidMichigan Health Park of Houghton Lake in Patient Services. Lindsay volunteered for many years at Tip-Up-Town USA as well as volunteering at the Chamber of Commerce for several yearly events, and was nominated Queen runner-up in 2012. She was a dance instructor, President of the Miss Houghton Lake Scholarship Program, and she enjoyed softball, camping, and kayaking. She was a loyal Detroit Tiger fan.

Lindsay is survived by her mother; Susan (Jay) Jacobs, father Ken (Carol) Kelly, siblings; Chris (Sue) Kelly, Dan (Kris) Kelly, Dawn Thornton, and Dennis Smith, grandma, Blanche Brown; step-siblings, Tiffany (Chris) Brand, Jennifer (Ray) Bruning, Denise Schafer, Vince (Starr) Brown, Jason (Antrelle) Brown, Matt (Julie) Brown; aunts; Patty Franek, Sandra Rae, Kay Fullerton, uncles; Larry (Jenny) Lawerance, and Dennis (William Cottrel) Cooper, special friend; Malissa Blake, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Natalie Kelly; her grandparents, aunts Peggy Wallington and Lois Burbeck; and uncles Norman Cooper, James Kelly, Ted Kelly, and Dennis Kelly.

A Memorial Service to Honor the Life of Lindsay M. Kelly will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11 am until the time of the service at 1 pm.
