Lorraine (Dues) Watkins

Lorraine Watkins, age 95, of Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday May 6, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Lorraine was born on June 26, 1929 in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Central High School in Flint, Michigan. Lorraine was married on September 2, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to Dallas J. Watkins Sr. The couple moved to the area in 1993. Lorraine enjoyed needlework, knitting, and reading.

Lorraine is survived by her sons; Dallas Watkins Jr. of Oregon, Robin Watkins of Lake Orion, and David Watkins of Houghton Lake, two daughters; Sherry Rabidoux of Lake Orion and Carol Watkins of Oregon; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dallas Watkins Sr.

Per Lorraine's wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
