Lou Paris, 56, SUDDENLY, survived by his mother Debbie Malachowski, father Lou Paris, Sr (Shirley), and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Lou began life at St Joseph’s hospital in Mt Clemens Michigan. He then lived in Detroit from age 8, going to Detroit Schools until the last 2 years where he graduated from Adlai Stevenson High School in 1986. While still in High School Lou enlisted in the Navy. They were not able to fulfill his contract so he was honorably discharged. Upon returning home Lou started a flooring business working mostly downtown Detroit including Greektown. Lou did a few side jobs including one for a crime bosses girlfriend, TRUE STORY!
His uncle Jim suggested he go to work for Home Depot. First at the Harper Woods store, then he took a job at Home Depot headquarters outside Atlanta Georgia. The stint at Atlanta was short. Lou said the women were beautiful but he had a hard time understanding their southern accents. Returning to Michigan, he worked at 2 more stores finishing up at Houghton Lake. Lou took a long break from work before buy in The Sand Bar in Prudenville. Where as being an only child, made many friendships which he cared about. As the song goes, Thank you for being his friend!
We will be having a wake at The Sand Bar in the spring. Hope to see many of you there! Daughter like best barista ever, Karianne, will keep everyone informed.
