Lynn (Foster) Barker

Lynn Barker, 76, of Cadillac, Michigan, passed away on February 4, 2026, at Munson Hospital in Traverse City, Michigan, surrounded by her loving family.

Lynn was born on December 23, 1949, in Lansing, Michigan, to Wells and Lois Foster. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School. Throughout her life, Lynn devoted herself to caring for others and creating beauty in all she touched.  Lynn worked at Sparrow Hospital in various customer service roles before returning to school in 1989 to become a cosmetologist so she could help others look and feel their best. She expressed her creativity through sewing, crocheting, and crafts. Whether tending to the flowers and plants in her yard or spending time on Lake Mitchell, she found joy in the natural beauty around her.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Rex Barker; her son Jason Barker and his wife Jean; her daughter Jamie Lynn (Barker) Hansen and her husband Christopher; her brother Michael Foster; her twin sister Lee Foster; and five cherished grandchildren: Jocelyn Barker, Nicholas Hansen, Marlee Barker, Brayden Hansen, and Kailee Hansen.  She was predeceased by her father, Wells Foster, and her mother, Lois Foster.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Munson Hospital Patient Needs Fund.
