Lynn Bevier, age 79 of Lake City passed away January 20, 2024 at Autumnwood of McBain.
Lynn was born September 18, 1944 in Marquette, Michigan to Floyd and Helen (Sarasin) Delbello.
Lynn married John Bevier in August of 1979.
She was Valedictorian of her graduating class of 1962 from Ewen-Trout Creek High School in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and retired as secretary to the Superintendent at the Wexford Missaukee Intermediate School District.
Lynn loved her church where she was a devoted member of the Lake City United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She had an insurmountable number of girlfriends that shared her interest of movies, coffee and tea gatherings, and various outings.
Lynn is survived by her loving husband, John and their four children, Kathleen (Bruce) Woodhull of Ypsilanti, Sandra (Timothy) Bodner of Stevenson Ranch, CA, Tamara (Bill) Artis of Kalamazoo and Robert (Jennifer) Brown of Greenville, their seven grandchildren, Brad, Brooke, Hailee, Alexandra, Noah, Dylan and Lucas and four great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Floyd (Jan) Delbello of Lake City, Ron Delbello of Englewood, FL and Tena (Dean) Anderson of Iron Mountain.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and her best friend, Joan “Jo” Geers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Noggle officiating. Visitation will begin the same day at 12:00 Noon until service time. Burial will take place in the spring at the Lake City Cemetery.
