Marcia K. (Trall) Neorr

Marcia Kay Neorr, age 81, of Houghton Lake, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at MYMichigan Medical Center in Clare, with her loving family by her side.

Marcia was born on January 11, 1945, in West Branch, Michigan, to Edward and Betty (Wenig) Trall. She graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1963 and Saginaw Beauty College and was a beautician for some years. From 1975 until 1986, she and her former husband owned and operated two businesses in Houghton Lake, M&M Ambulance Service and Answering Service. Marcia was a member of Houghton Lake United Methodist Church, a former member of Sweet Adelines International, traveling for performances to locales such as the Radio City Music Hall. She was delighted to be involved with Tip-Up-Town USA, where she and her family have been involved with the Poor People’s Party and T.U.T. for 4 generations. She enjoyed living a Christian life, bird watching, crocheting, and was a former volunteer and officer for The A.R.K./The Association to Rescue Kritters, as well as attending as many of her grandchildren's activities as possible.

Marcia is survived by her children, Heather (Scott) Andrew, Alma, Joel Neorr, Houghton Lake, Nathan (Anne Golden) Neorr, Cincinnati, OH, four grandchildren, six bonus grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, sister, Geni Fowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael "Skip" Neorr, and daughter-in-love Kathleen Bolger.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Marcia are asked to be directed to The A.R.K./The Association to Rescue Kritters, in Saint Helen, by going to arkritters.org.
