Margaret (Schneider) Davidson

Margaret Davidson, of Marion and formerly of the Davison area, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Autumnwood of McBain. She was 95.

Margaret was born on July 19, 1926 in Davison, Michigan to Philip and Evelyn (Brown) Schneider. She was a graduate of Davison High School. Margaret began her career working at General Motors during World War II. She entered into marriage with Donald Davidson in 1946. They spent 68 loving years together until his time of passing in 2014. As the couple began their family having a daughter, Coleene, Margaret knew her heart had much more love in it to offer. She proudly began serving as a foster parent for numerous children, which she deeply loved. Margaret had many special pets throughout the years that she cherished. In her spare time, she liked to spend time gardening and enjoyed the arts, from making ceramics to painting folk art. Margaret loved surrounding herself with her family.
  
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Coleene Davidson of Marion; adopted daughter, Kelly Eastham; granddaughter, Linda Gregory; 7 great-grandchildren with one of the way; 1 great-great-grandson; brother, Philip Gerald Schneider; and many other loving family members and friends. 
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, Philip and Evelyn Schneider; and a sister, Marlene.
  
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
