Margaret Lentner Obituary

Margaret Marie Lentner, 65, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday December 30, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Margaret was born on July 26, 1960 in Gladwin, Michigan to Lawrence and Elizabeth (Wentworth) Cuddie. She grew up in Gladwin where she graduated from Gladwin High School.  On July 7, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada Margaret was married to Kenneth James Lentner. Margaret was a member of and very active with the Houghton Lake Global Methodist Church.  She enjoyed reading and volunteering time at Tammy's Bookworm Book Store. Margaret loved spending time with family and friends, especially with her daughter and son-in-law.

Surviving Mrs. Lentner are her loving daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Hamilton of Sterling Heights; three sisters, Teresa (Harry) Hale-Lespier of KS, Rita (Donald) Wiegner of NE, and Loretta (Jeff) Godby of CO; two brothers, Kevin (Jane) Cuddie of Gladwin, and Eric (Janelle) Cuddie of Gladwin; several nieces and nephews.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth James Lentner. 

Funeral Services for Margaret Marie Lentner will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday January 3, 2026 from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel with Rev. Kevin Harbin officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday January 2, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions in memory of Margaret are asked to be directed to PKD Foundation, Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO  64187.
