Marilyn Bohmer Obituary

Marilyn K. Bohmer, age 77, of Saint Helen passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital with her family by her side. 

Marilyn was born on March 20, 1944 in Monroe, Michigan to George Stape & Elva Sell. She married Ronald Bohmer on January 31, 1976 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. The couple moved to Saint Helen in 2003 from Ida. Marilyn enjoyed baking, gardening and crocheting. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Marilyn was loved by many and was known for her kind heart.  

Marilyn is survived by her loving husband; Ronald Bohmer of Saint Helen, sons; Jason Bohmer of Monroe, James (Joann) Kohler of Newport and Jeffrey Bohmer of Monroe, sister; Joyce Stasa of Monroe, grandchildren; Amber (Steven Eddy) Kohler of Houghton Lake, Alexis Bomia of Saint Helen, Ashleigh Kohler of Monroe, Harmony Bohmer of Monroe, Melody Bohmer of Monroe, Jaron Bohmer of Monroe, Kaitlynn Kohler of Newport, Dakota Kohler of Newport, Cameron Bohmer of Monroe, Madison Bohmer of Monroe and Dylan Bohmer of Monroe, great grandchildren; Brooke Kohler of Houghton Lake, Jai'Lynn Kohler of Houghton Lake, Collin Newbert of Monroe and Colton Newbert of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, son; Bradley Kohler, daughter; Jill Bomia and siblings; Carol Jean Stape, William Beal and Verneal Beal Carr.
