Mary (McDaniel) Moore

Mary Moore, lifelong resident of Manton, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital. She was 75.

Mary was born on May 10, 1950 in Cadillac, Michigan to Gilbert and Keitha Belle (Burdick) McDaniel. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially loved going fishing with her mom in her younger years. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Sci-Fi and Fantasy movies on Tv. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed watching the games. Mary liked to be outside was fond of growing tomatoes and feeding the birds. Throughout the years she had several pets she cared for, and most recently, her special furry companion, Boots. She enjoyed her special visits from her grandpup, Anna, and cherished spoiling her with cuddles and treats as often as she could. Above all, she was proud of her son, Joshua, and would talk fondly about him to her friends at every opportunity. 
  
Mary is survived by her loving son, Joshua Moore of Ingleside, IL; nephews, Mike (Carrie) McDaniel, Gary Jensen and Patrick Jensen; nieces, Helen Bates and Krista Campbell; brother-in-law, Garvin Jensen; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Keitha Belle McDaniel; brother and sister-in-law, Dallas and Beverly McDaniel; and sister, Leannah Janet Jensen.
  
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
