Mary E. (Bumbalough) Romancky

Mary E. Romancky, age 89, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday August 9, 2023 at King Nursing & Rehabilitation Community surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on August 6, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Comer and Frances (Hester) Bumbalough. She was married on April 4, 1953 in St. Helen, Michigan to Albert J. Romancky Sr.. Mary was a member of the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church and enjoyed cooking, baking, and bowling. Most of all Mary centered herself around her family, she always looked forward to family gatherings and spending time with them.

Mary is survived by her children; Albert Romancky Jr., Herb Romancky, Joe (Marilyn) Romancky, Fran (Doug) Swanson and Mary Ann (Stefan) Smith, twelve grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Albert, grandson; Paul, siblings; Dorothy, Bill, Richard and Linda, daughter-in-laws; Linda and Mary.  

Funeral Services for Mary E. Romancky will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday August 18, 2023 from Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Denton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday August 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.
