Mary Ellen (Foster) Snyder

Mary Ellen Snyder, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 67.

Mary was born on April 26, 1959 in Missouri to parents, Jim and Barb (Hand) Foster. On June 17, 1978 she entered into marriage with Mike Snyder in Lake City, Michigan. She enjoyed spending time outdoors watching the wildlife, especially birds, or tending to her garden. She could often be found listening to music, singing along and dancing. Above all she cherished the time spent with her family. Mary loved surrounding herself with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for having a big heart.
  
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Mike Snyder; children, Mike (Jen) Snyder Jr., Josh Snyder, Joseph Snyder, Rachel (Alex) Scott, Samuel Snyder, Noah Snyder and Naomi (Brooks) Lounsberry; grandchildren, Marah Snyder, Addy Snyder, Violet Snyder, Elsie Scott, Grayson Snyder, Lily Lounsberry, Zaylee Scott and Luke Lounsberry; grandpups, Nala and Scout; siblings, Janet Bartholomew, Danny Labell, Michael (Karen) Foster, Debbie Booms, Patty (Stan) Rogers, Paula (Brit) Vickers and Elizabeth (Matt) Sinor; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Barb Foster; and a brother-in-law, Fred Bartholomew.
