Cadillac - Mary “Maxine” Fall ran into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday morning, October 14, 2025. She was born in Buckley, Michigan, on November 16, 1931, to Theodore and Ireta Weidenhamer. Maxine grew up in Traverse City, Michigan, where she met her husband of 48 years, Rev. David “Kenneth” Fall. Together they spent their lives in ministry, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Rev. Kenneth Fall; three sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by her children, Timothy K. Fall (Katie) and Teri L. Fall; her foster daughter, Sue (Dan) Mowat; grandchildren Barry (Beth) Fall, Cindy (Max) Lint, Jennifer Fall, Cheri (Eric) Harrison, and Kenn (Coree) Fall; step-grandchildren Cole (Lynn) Bringold and Morgan (Doug) Fischer; and foster grandchildren Mary Sue (Jeremiah) Ragsdale, Kristin (Justin) Shaw, and Kayla (Robert) Lyons. She leaves behind 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Doris Ackerman, Ruth Graf, and Betty (Charles) Jylha, her brother, Larry Weidenhamer; and numerous nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews—each of whom was very precious to her.
Maxine continued to share her love of Jesus right up until her last breath. She was filled with laughter and joy, with an endless supply of “Granny” jokes, silly songs, and poems. No one ever left her home empty—she made sure every guest departed with both a full belly and a full soul. Her love for people knew no bounds.
If you are reading this, chances are your name was on her prayer list—a list she faithfully opened every morning as she talked to Jesus about each and every person.
Maxine will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her devotion to family, and the love and kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her legacy of faith and family will continue to live on through the generations she so dearly cherished.
