Mary "Peggy" M. (Morris) Ripke

Mary "Peggy" Margaret Ripke, age 78, of Maple Valley, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Avielle Haven Assisted Living with her loving family by her side.

Peggy was born on February 21, 1947, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to Willis and Margaret (Clark) Morris. She was a Special Education Teacher for  Roscommon and later Houghton Lake Community Schools, retiring in 2003. Peggy was married on July 21, 1982, in West Branch to Jerry Herbert Ripke. She was a former Backus Township Supervisor for 25 years. Peggy enjoyed old cars and going to old car shows and antiques. She was also a former volunteer for the Roscommon County Sheriff's Department for 4 years.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Tom (Dawn) Kaminski, Andy Kaminski, step-son, Jason Ripke; grandchildren, Bailey, Megan, James, Bridget, Bryce, Scott, and Robert; two great granddaughters, Scarlett, and Lyla; brother, Steven (Robin) Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerry Ripke.

Per Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside will take place in Fall Run Cemetery, Woodruff, West Virginia.
