Michael Duane Breyer, 78, of Prudenville passed away on Friday October 1, 2021 at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.
Michael was born on October 21, 1942 in Bridgeport, Michigan to Michael and Jenny (Eagle) Breyer. Michael spent most of his life in the Houghton Lake area. On September 20, 1972 in Colora, Maryland, Michael was married to Myra L. Burton. He worked as a truck driver for Many Houghton Lake business over the years. Michael was a member of the Houghton Lake United Methodist Church, and the Harrison Eagles. He enjoyed woodworking, and loved being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
Surviving Mr. Breyer are his loving wife of 49 years, Myra L. Breyer of Prudenville; daughter, Norma (Alan) King of Houghton Lake; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Dante) King of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Leah (Nic) King of Houghton Lake; great grandson, Murphy Payne of Houghton Lake; and several cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services for Michael Duane Breyer will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday October 23, 2021 from the Houghton Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Harbin officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Memorial contributions in memory of Michael are asked to be directed to the Houghton Lake United Methodist Church.
