Michael F. Fitzpatrick

Michael F. Fitzpatrick, aged 78, of Lake City Michigan passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on January 10th, 2025. He was born on April 13th, 1946 in Onaway, MI to Ford and Emmagene Fitzpatrick. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient and lived a life defined by his love of his family, friends, and pets.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Debra Fitzpatrick, his parents, brother, Thomas and sister, Pat. He is survived by his children, Ryan (Brenda), Stacy (Brian), Amy (Larry), and Sean, five grandchildren, Wesley, Stacey, Courtney, Gage, and Owen, seven great-grandchildren, his brother, George (Cindi), sister, Chris, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his family, Michael enjoyed spending time outside, fishing, playing cards, and telling jokes. He loved telling stories and sharing memories with his family and friends. Michael’s kindness, generosity, and humor will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held on April 12th, where family and friends will gather to share stories and celebrate his life. Specific details are forth coming.
