Michael "Mike" T. Vlasic

Michael "Mike" T. Vlasic, age 80, of Prudenville passed away on Sunday December 29, 2019 at home with family by his side.

Mike was born on February 13, 1939 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to Michael and Catrina (Renick) Vlasic. He served in the US Air Force. Mike retired from General Motors where he had worked as a welder. He was married on June 9, 1967 in Keego Harbor, Michigan to Jessie L. Mosgrove. The couple had moved to Prudenville in 1992 from Holly. Mike enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors.

Mike is survived by his step-daughters; Donna Hall and Carol (Larry) LaBair, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and a sister; Frances Kalinowski. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife; Jessie Vlasic. 

Funeral Services for Michael Vlasic will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday January 2, 2020 from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel with Chaplin Lonnie Severance officiating. Interment will be in Denton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday January 2, 2020 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
