Nellie May Thompson

Nellie May Thompson, age 52 of Lake City passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.

Nellie was born July 17, 1969 in Muskegon to Tony and Neva (Shivlie) Riedl.

She married Alexander Thompson on May 10, 2003 in Montague, Michigan.

Nellie was employed as a receptionist at the Missaukee Humane Society in Lake City. She enjoyed camping and loved nature; especially waterfalls.  Her interests included motorcycles, car shows and she loved spending time with her family.

Nellie is survived by her husband, Alex and daughter, Jasmine Riedl.  She is also survived by a brother, Bruce Welch and aunt and uncles, Gladys and John Pardee and Basil (Carol) Shivlie and mother in law, Penny Walsama

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
