Noelle Viurquiz Obituary

Cadillac - Noelle Diane Viurquiz, tragically passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Thursday, January 22, 2026. She was only 45 years of age and her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who had the honor to know and love her.

She was born on March 28, 1980, in Jacksonville, Florida, to David and Joan (Graham) Sanders. Noelle was widely known in the Cadillac area, providing the best service at several restaurants, most notably: Little Mexico, Maggie's, Big Boy, Pizza Hut and Herradura's where she spent many good years. More recently Noelle had returned to Northern Michigan and proudly began work at Michigan Rubber.

Noelle's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment in life was being a mother. She devoted herself wholeheartedly as a kind and loving mom to her two children, who were the center of her world and the source of her deepest happiness. Noelle’s greatest traits and qualities will forever shine through in each of her children.

She had a gentle soul and a huge heart, especially when it came to animals and babies, whom she loved dearly. She also found joy in singing and could often be found performing karaoke, where her love of music and laughter shone through. A creative spirit, she enjoyed crafting, particularly dream catchers, which reflected her thoughtful nature and her wish to bring peace and beauty to those around her. She loved to laugh, to have fun, and to be surrounded by friends and family, filling every gathering with warmth, joy, and light.

Noelle is survived by her loving children who will forever carry her in their hearts, her daughter, Kyla Viurquiz; her son, Michael Viurquiz; a grandson on the way, Onyx King Viurquiz-Curtis, whom she would have cherished; one brother, Andrew Sanders; her beloved nieces and nephews, to whom she adored being known as “Aunt Nelly”; as well as numerous other loving family members, friends, and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Nicole (Sanders) Goard; and her step-sister, Melisa.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home in Cadillac, with visitation one hour prior. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in care of her daughter, Kyla Viurquiz.
