Norma Keelean Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Norma, who left us to join her sons, Michael and Kenneth Shane who welcomed her to heavens gates.

Norma placed her children and family above all else. The legacy she leaves behind is a growing brood of grandkids and great grandkids; all who had their own special place in Gigi's heart and are growing up to make her proud. Her family farm has always been a safe and welcoming place for all family and friends alike.

No one will miss Norma more than the one she waited a lifetime for and best friend/husband, Mark. She was so proud to be his wife. The memories they shared together on their winter trips South or just the casino getaways, were more than she could ask for.

Many will remember Norma as being the best in her job; whether they knew her from the Ol' Hollywood days, the Eagles or the American Legion from which she retired. Oh, the stories she could tell! So many were touched by her love, generosity and acts of kindness.

Norma was an expert gardener, who was well known for her prolific raspberry patch. Many reaped the benefits of her harvest. She was also a fantastic cook and hands down made the best biscuits and gravy; a family favorite.

Norma loved nothing more than bringing the whole family together for a holiday or picnic. No one could throw together a celebration like Norma!

Norma was smart, funny, kind, generous and had a heart of love for everyone. She was a talented artist who painted beautiful birdhouses. She had a love for Stephen King and all the Walking Dead Series. She was a caregiver to many friends and family; young and old.

Norma is survived by her children: Christine (Scott) Reagan, Angie (Pat) Watkins, Bill Crusan, Scott (Kristen) Keelean and Kimberly (Rob) Klenk. Her brother: Al (Lanna) Steward and lifelong sister by choice who has shared a life journey with Norma, Jackie K. She is also survived by a nephew Jacob Steward and too many grandkids and great grandkids to list.

Her family is honoring her wishes with a private ceremony on the family property at a later date.   We will miss you Norma/Gigi.  Forever in our hearts.
