Norma Mae (Bowers) Ray

Norma Mae Ray, of Marion, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at her home. She was 81.

Norma was born on May 14, 1943 to Alex and Lorraine (Fountain) Bowers. Norma spent her career working various jobs from running flee markets, to working circus and carnivals, and even owning and operating a pawn shop for several years. She was an incredibly talented artist and loved to craft. In her spare time, she could often be found outdoors going hunting or fishing. She will be deeply missed.

Norma is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Billie Bowers of Marion; nephews, Tim Bowers of Alaska and Kenneth Miller of Oregon; best friend, Donna Schreve; and many other loving friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her father, Alex Bowers; mother, Lorraine Bowers; and step-mother, Mabel Bowers.
  
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
