Norman "Norm" J. Peppler

Norman "Norm" J. Peppler, age 87, of Prudenville passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Crawford Continuing Care Center with his family by his side.

Norm was born on June 6, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to John "Earl" and Goldie (Cannan) Peppler. He was married on June 27, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to Beverly Mulanix. The couple moved to Houghton Lake in 1977 from Flint. He owned and operated Grayling Floor Covering and later started Houghton Lake Floor & Tile. Norm was a former member of the Houghton Lake Elks Lodge and Houghton Lake Lions. He enjoyed woodworking and has made several beautiful pieces of furniture, he also enjoyed building train sets, and going fly fishing.  

Norm is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Beverly Peppler of Prudenville, daughters; Debra (John) Moffatt of Fenton and Diane (Don) Collins of Maple Valley, son; Michael (Mary) Peppler of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Arlene Harper and Joyce Lovejoy and brother; Jack Peppler.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Denton Township Cemetery.
