Patricia A. Iwankovitsch Chieski

Cadillac - Patricia Ann Iwankovitsch Chieski, of Cadillac, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer with her husband, Don and family by her side. She was 72.

Patricia was born on May 16, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Lorraine (Rogotze) Iwankovitsch. Patty, as known by many, grew up and attended school at East Catholic High School becoming a member of the 1971 graduating class.

On January 26, 1985, Patty entered into marriage with Donald Mark Chieski in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The couple settled in the town of Granby, Connecticut, where Patty worked as an administrative assistant and executive secretary for the town for decades.  Patty enjoyed SCUBA, boating, fishing, and her watercolor art.  She had a passion for her family and adored her nieces and nephews and was one truly amazing aunt. 

Patty is survived by her loving husband, Donald Chieski of Cadillac; her two brothers, Ronald (Diana) Iwankovitsch of Ubly, and Daryl (Connie) Iwankovitsch of  Cass City, several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many other loving family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial Mass will be held on Friday October, 10, 2025 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores at 10am, with visitation for friends and family one hour prior. Interment will take place following a luncheon and committal services will begin at 1:30pm at the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
