Obituary
Patricia Ann Kast, 59, of Houghton Lake passed away unexpectedly on Saturday September 17, 2022.
Patricia was born on April 26, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Geraldine (Hamel) McCormick. She worked as a Behavioral Specialist for LifeWays for many years before moving to Houghton Lake from the Hillsdale area 25 years ago. Patricia was an active member of the Houghton Lake Eagles Club, and the Hillsdale American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving Patricia are her loving Children, Amanda (Justin) Green, and Jason (Maranda) Kast; Grandchildren, Sadie Green, Preston, Ava, and Harper Kast; Siblings, Gene McCormick and Linda McCormick; and Niece and Nephew, Jennifer Mitchell and Brian Kast. She was further survived by many other loving family members, friends and her furry friend, Molly. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geraldine McCormick; Grandson, Jameson Kast; and Brother, Norman McCormick.
A Celebration of Life for Patricia Ann Kast will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions in her memory are asked to be directed to your local Humane Society or Local Animal Shelter of your choice.
