Patricia A. Sickles

Cadillac - Patricia Ann Sickles, of Cadillac, passed away on Wednesday May 4th at Munson Healthcare's Cadillac Hospital.  She was 82 years old.

Patricia was born in Syracuse, NY, on July 6th, 1939, and she is survived by her sister Leila, who still lives in Syracuse; as well as brother-in-law Eugene "Butch" Sickles; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, friends, and her second family, the Salvation Army of Cadillac. She spent much of her later years volunteering her time and energy to the Salvation Army. 
On November 14th, 1987, Patricia married the love of her life, Edward Sickles, and he preceded her in death in February 1997.  When Edward was still alive, she enjoyed going for spontaneous rides wherever their van took them. Though she and Edward never had any children, they would take any children or “critters”, as she liked to call them, under their wings and spoil them rotten.  In addition to Edward, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and brothers-in-law, Noah Sickles and Charles Sickles. 

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Salvation Army Church, located at 725 Wright Street in Cadillac. Pat will join Edward and be laid to rest at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the Salvation Army.
