Patricia "Pat" F. (Westervelt) McRorie

Patricia "Pat" F. McRorie, age 84, of  Prudenville, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at home.

Pat was born on December 30, 1940, in Ferndale, Michigan, to Douglas and Lavina (LaMore) Westervelt. She was married to Lawrence McRorie in January 1961, at Great Lakes, Illinois. Pat was a member of the Houghton Lake Eagles, a former volunteer at Collins Elementary, and Relay for Life. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Pat is survived by her children; Deb (Tom) Sohn, Karen Jackson and Doug McRorie, grandchildren, Carrie Warunek, Heather (Chris) Sargent, Ashley Cross, Niki (John) Stille, and Ryan (Amanda) Jackson, great grandchildren; Kendra (Darrian Pitcher) Cross, Jordan (Troy Young) Cross, Mason Beaver, Hunter Warunek, Kennedy Warunek, Nash Stille, Tenley Stille, Raymond Jackson, Brady Jackson, and Emma Leigh Jackson, great-great grandson; Breslin Pitcher, sister; Nancy (Don) Mersnick. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence, daughter, Carrie, and brother Douglas. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel, with an Eagles service at 1 pm. A luncheon will follow at the Houghton Lake Eagles Lodge. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel, is serving the family.
