Patrick O. Bright

Cadillac – Patrick Bright of Cadillac and formerly of Colorado tragically took his own life on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at the age of 36. His family and friends will forever cherish the laughter, kindness, and warmth he brought into their lives.

Patrick was born at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to Patrick Bright, Sr. and Laura Moshier. The family relocated to Colorado where Patrick attended school and graduated in Woodland Park. Patrick had a natural ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable, often turning a difficult day around with a perfectly timed joke or clever observation.

Patrick carried with him a sharp wit, a curious mind, and a genuine appreciation for learning throughout his life. He was often found with a book in hand, exploring new ideas, stories, and perspectives. Patrick loved animals and found joy and peace with his cats who he cared for with endless affection.

Though his passing leaves immeasurable sorrow, his family and friends hope that he will be remembered not for the way he died, but for the countless moments of laughter and kindness he shared during his life. Patrick is survived by his mother Laura Jarrow of Cadillac; his father, Pat Bright, of Argentina; his sister, Felicia Bright of Pittsburgh, PA; Aunt Cathy and Uncle Bob, as well as other loving family members and those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tim Jarrow.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.
