Randal James Goforth

Randal James Goforth, 63, of Higgins Lake  passed away on Monday May 29, 2023 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Randal was born on December 13, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to Roger and Irene (Pilarski) Goforth. Starting his adult life, following high school, Randal soon met the love of his life, Deborah Kildee. The two were married on May 11, 1984 in Lansing, MI. They spent many years in the Lansing area, growing their family. Growing up in the Detroit area, moving to Fowlerville and Lansing, the two then decided to move up North. Upon moving to the Higgins Lake area, Randal worked as a Mechanic for Don Nester Auto Group retiring in 2020. Randal was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by so many who had the chance to know him.

Surviving Randal James Goforth are his loving Wife of 39 years, Deborah Goforth; Mother, Irene Goforth; Daughter, Jamie (Jeff) Zerndt; Grandchildren, Annalisa and Bennet Zerndt; and his Siblings, David Goforth and Kris Minoch. Randal was preceded in death by his Father, Roger Goforth. 

A Celebration in honor of Randal's life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at The Pavillion, at Park 27 on Old US 27 in Lyon Twp. from 1:00 - 4:00pm. Memorial contributions in memory of Randal are asked to be directed to his family.
