Richard Ormal McKinley

Cadillac, Michigan - Richard  McKinley, of Cadillac passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was 86.

Richard was born on July 29, 1938, in Cadillac, Michigan to Ormal and Grace (Baldwin) McKinley.  Richard was married to Pearl Kae Miller. November 19, 1960, at Rollins Church in Manton, Michigan. 

Richard attended Cadillac High School. He served in the United States AirForce from 1956-1959. Richard then went on to work at Cadillac Metal Casters and retired from Stagg Machine Shop in 2003. He was a Deacon at Independent Bible church and served the Lord through the Child Evangelism Fellowship as their treasurer.He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing and golfing. He played softball for his church league where he was nicknamed "mad dog" for pitching a "no hitter".

Richard is survived by his wife, Pearl (Miller) McKinley; daughters, Monica (Richard) Chatfield, Kimberly (Nicholas) Wade, and Lynne (Karl) Liebetrau; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ormal McKinley; mother, Grace (Baldwin) McKinley and sister, Sharon (McKinley) Brown.

Graveside services for immediate family will be held at Haring Township Cemetery in Cadillac, Michigan. Donations may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
