Robert "Bob" H. Hasty

Robert "Bob" Hasty, age 75, of Prudenville passed away on Thursday December 20, 2018 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Community with his loving family by his side. 

Bob was born on September 23, 1943 in Tucson, Arizona to John and Fern (Moore) Hasty. He graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1961. Bob retired from Consumers Energy in 2008 where he worked as a Lineman. He enjoyed hunting, going for rides in the woods and spending time at his cabin. 

Bob is survived by his sons; Tyler (Michele) Hasty of Prudenville, Tom Hasty of Prudenville and Todd (Tina) Hasty of Durand, grandchildren; Johnathon Hasty, Jackson Hasty and Shananne Hill, sister; Joan Hasty of Prudenville and brother; John Hasty of Prudenville and a dear family friend Jimmy Meigs of Prudenville. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Per Bob's wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday January 5, 2019 at the Backdoor Saloon located at 5819 W. Houghton Lake Drive, Houghton Lake, Michigan 48629 from 2-4 pm. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
