Robert "Bob" V. Meyer, age 94, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at Munson Healthcare-Grayling Hospital.

Bob was born on June 2, 1927 in Brunswick, Missouri to Julius and Bonnie (Lewis) Meyer. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Bob worked in Advertising for many years in the Royal Oak area. He was married on August 2, 1980 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Loraine Foulkes. The couple moved to Prudenville shortly after their marriage in 1980. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Bob is survived by nephews: Craig Meyer and Mark Meyer and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife; Loraine Meyer and brother; Jerry Meyer.

Per Bob's wishes cremation will take place and no services will be held. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions in memory of Robert are asked to be directed to the charity of the donor's choice. Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
