Orlando - Roger Gerard LeBlanc, of Orlando and formerly of Northern Michigan passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 due to complications of his long battle of cancer. He was 59. Around his bedside were his mother, Carol LeBlanc; sister, Lisa Roby and brother-in-law, Dan Roby; his best friend, Rod Smith and wife, Kim; Kevin and Marty Wade; Mike and Maureen Riley; and Chris Albruy.
Roger was born on November 21, 1965, in Cadillac, Michigan. He graduated from Mesick High School in 1984 and moved to Orlando, FL, following graduation. Roger married the former Suzanne Smith on November 24, 1985, in a double ceremony with their friends Mike and Maureen Riley. Roger was employed by various companies. His last employment was on Sanibel Island in the water treatment department. Some of Roger's favorite pass times were riding his motorcycle, working on cars, knee-boarding, water skiing, and boating. Roger was a jokester and the life of the party. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Roger Alcide LeBlanc; half-brother, James Jollineau; and ex-wife, Suzanne (LeBlanc) Nolf.
Roger is survived by his mother, Carol LeBlanc of Cadillac; half-brother, Thomas Jollineau of Cadillac; sister, Lisa (Dan) Roby of Cadillac; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We want to thank everyone who kept Roger in their prayers everywhere, and Kim Cooper who kept his spirit and hopes up during his cancer treatments. In addition the family would like to thank Roger's "Florida Family" who have helped him throughout his battle with cancer, Rod and Kim Smith; Mike and Maureen Riley; Kevin and Marty Wade; Chris and Maria Albury; Sylinda Emanuel; and Pastor, Steve Ingram.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, June 27th, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Cadillac, with visitation one hour prior.
