Ronald F. Aisthorpe, age 80, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday June 9, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born on November 29, 1940 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Watson and Lillian (Strouse) Aisthorpe. He retired from the US Navy, where he served during the Vietnam War. Ron was married on July 7, 1987 in Reno, Nevada to Catherine Kingston. The couple moved back to Michigan from California 23 years ago. Ron was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and enjoyed traveling.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Catherine Aisthorpe of Prudenville, sons; Joseph Bohm of Mio, Jonathan (Lisa) Bohm of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and James (Heather) Aisthorpe of Maysville, grandchildren; Lindsey, Faith, Brandon, Juliana and Megan, sister; Susan Walters of Richmond, brothers; James Aisthorpe of Utica and Douglas Aisthorpe of Alpena. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Gary Aisthorpe.
Military Graveside for Ronald F. Aisthorpe will be conducted at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at 10 am. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
