Ronald G. Thalhammer

Ronald G. Thalhammer, 82, of Higgins Lake, MI passed away on Wednesday, October
15, 2025 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI.

Ronald was born on March 4, 1943 in Flint, MI to Clair and Elenor (Tucker)
Thalhammer. He grew up in Flint where he graduated from Flint Northern High School.
He is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Education. Ronald
taught music and theater for Waterford Public Schools where he retired in 1997. He
moved to Higgins Lake in 2002. Ron enjoyed music, theater, the library and spending
time with friends and family.

Surviving Mr. Thalhammer are his brother, Gerald Thalhammer, niece Amy (Scott)
Richert, nephew Douglas (Suzanne) Thalhammer, and nephew Andrew (Leslie)
Thalhammer. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

Private Family Services for Ronald G. Thalhammer will be conducted. Interment will be
at Oakwood Cemetery, Lyon Township, Higgins Lake. Memorial contributions in memory
of Ronald are asked to be directed to the Gerrish-Higgins Library. Christler Funeral
