Roxanna "Roxy" Lynn (Brauer) LaFuze

Roxanna "Roxy" Lynn Brauer-LaFuze, of Manton, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in Manton, Michigan. She was 70.

Roxy was born on October 2, 1954 to Kenneth and Donna (Newland) Brauer in Toledo, Ohio. On August 24, 1991 she entered into marriage with Richard LaFuze in Cadillac, Michigan. The couple enjoyed going on camping trips together, especially to Mackinaw City. Roxy loved riding on the back of her husband's motorcycle and often referred to it as her "wind therapy". She loved collecting sweatshirts from each place she would visit along the way. Roxy always looked forward to celebrating and decorating for the holidays, especially Halloween. She was an avid baker, and looked forward to baking cakes for her family's special events, including birthdays and even weddings. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roxy would not let any of her family or friends leave from visiting her without a hug. She will be remembered for her generous heart. 
  
Roxanna is survived by her loving husband, Richard LaFuze; sons, Bob (Virginia) Berg and Richie (Jess) LaFuze; daughters, Donna (Mike) Cornelius and Jennifer (Bruce) Burns; brothers, Ken (Janice) Brauer and Mikey (Janet) Martin; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Donna Brauer; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Schaub and Madonna Chapelle.
  
A time of gathering will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 pm at Hall-Holdship Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
