Sandra Lee Murray

Sandra Lee Murray, age 83 of Mooretown, passed away December 7, 2025 at Autumnwood of McBain.

Sandra was born March 11, 1942 in Toledo, Ohio , the daughter of Harry V. and Ruth (Jarecki) Pownell.

She was united in marriage to Aaron Murray Jr. on May 30, 1964 in Moorestown. Aaron preceded her in death in 2009.

Sandra grew up in the Toledo, OH area near Lake Erie.

Sandi Murray loved helping people and seeing them succeed. She was a Weight Watcher leader for over twenty years and took pride in every moment of it.

After retiring, she spent her spare time volunteering at Autumnwood of McBain, helping people keep and regain their mobility.

The thing she took pride in the most and loved the most, was by far, her family.

Sandra is survived by her children, Scott (Michelle) Murray, Joy (Jerry) Hanel and Brandon (Tylor) Murray all of Moorestown. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jami (Ben) Bigger, Tyler (Kailey) Murray, Jon and Walker and three great grandchildren, Beckham, Bryce and Baylor and a sister, Janet “Rusty” Chambers of Arizona.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Moorestown Community Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 until service time. Pastor Mike Dunn will officiate. A luncheon will follow at the Norwich Township Hall.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Munson Hospice or the Moorestown Community Church.
