Scott Richard Salisbury

Scott Richard Salisbury, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. He was 73.

Scott was born on February 24, 1952 in Cadillac, Michigan to Richard C. and Verna Mae (Bonham) Salisbury. On November 10, 1973 he entered into marriage with the former Diana Jo Johnson at the Marion United Methodist Church. He volunteered much of his time serving the Marion Fire Department for many years. In his spare time, he could often be found outside riding around on his lawn mower tending to his yard. He liked to go fishing and would often tie flies of his own. He loved watching football games and attending games when he could. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and newest great-grandson.
  
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Diana Salisbury; children, Courtney (Nick) Rademaker and Ryan (Cailey) Salisbury; grandchildren, Olivia (Brandon) Stewart, RJ Salisbury, Jax Salisbury, Seby Salisbury, Ella Wilson, Elijah Wilson, and Ethan Wilson; great-grandson; Baylor Stewart; sister, Sandra (Leon) Mosher; mother-in-law, Juanita Johnson; sister-in-law,  Debra Godfrey; brothers-in-law, Dan Johnson, Allen (Terri) Johnson, Larry (Melissa) Johnson, William K. (Angela) Johnson, and Terry (Sarah) Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Verna Mae Salisbury; son-in-law, Chad Wilson; and father-in-law, William Johnson.
  
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 1 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior at Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home.
