Sharon Monica Birman, of Cadillac, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. She was 85.
Sharon was born on December 3, 1939 to Emmanuel and Beatrice Mooney. Sharon entered into marriage with Edward L. Birman on April 8, 1988, in Wyoming, Michigan. The couple spent 28 years together until his time of passing on April 9, 2016. In her younger years, she volunteered her time at Munson Healthcare Hospital in Cadillac. Sharon could often be found outside going for walks, feeding and watching the birds, and watering her plants. She liked working on crosswords, puzzles, playing games, or enjoying a nice bowl of ice cream. Sharon enjoyed taking trips and always looked forward to traveling to the next new spot to visit. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Rick (Lynn) Croel of Marne, MI, Monica Kramer of Pagosa Springs, CO, Melissa (Kevin) Beggs of Evart, MI, Michelle Mooney of Grand Rapids, MI, and Jeff (Dori) Croel of Coopersville, MI; step-children, Tony (Patty) Birman of Otsego, MI and Christine (Scott) Snow of Kalamazoo, MI; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; a granddaughter, Ashley Beggs; a grandson, David Kramer; and a son-in-law, Tom Kramer.
