Sharon Rose (Gillum) Tooker

Sharon Rose Tooker, 84, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Sunday March 15, 2026 at home with her family by her side.

Sharon was born on December 10, 1941 in Marshall, Michigan to Dale and Erma (Bochman) Gillum. Sharon grew up in the Battle Creek area.  On April 1, 1961 Sharon married Fred E. Tooker Sr. in Battler Creek. The Couple moved to Roscommon in 1970.  They then moved to the Houghton Lake area in 1989. Sharon was a homemaker and mother of four children.  She enjoyed cross stitching and was an avid Bingo player.

Surviving Mrs. Tooker are her two daughters, Dawn Tooker of Lake, and Kim Pritchard of Houghton Lake; son, William Tooker of Houghton Lake; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents;  son, Fred E. Tooker Jr;  and eight siblings 

At the request of Sharon Tooker there will be no services.  Memorial contributions in memory of Sharon are asked to be directed to the American Cancer Society.
