Shelton C. Holtzclaw

Cadillac, Michigan- Shelton Carl Holtzclaw, of Cadillac, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was 42.
 
Shelton was born on July 6, 1976 in Andrews, Texas. He attended Plymouth-Canton schools. Shelton lived in Houston, Texas for several years before moving to Cadillac, Michigan.
 
Shelton is survived by his parents, Debra "Jan" (Thomas) Turner of Luther; brother, Scott Proctor of Odessa, Texas; sister, Michelle Metcalf of Pasadena, Texas; two step-sisters, Angela Turner of Marine City, Michigan and Crystal (Ted) Wlodarczyk of Sterling Heights, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and many other loving family members and friends.
Shelton was preceded in death by his father, Carl B. Holtzclaw of Texas; sister, Stacey S. Proctor of Cadillac; and grandmother, Elizabeth Robertson of Goldsmith,  Texas.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Cadillac Masonic Lodge, 124 1/2 N. Mitchell Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601.
