If you knew Sheryl, you know that her faith and love for her family was un-measurable. She loved spending time with them whether it was a family cookout, camping, or attending school functions. Sheryl was also an avid baker and always had homemade cookies ready for family and friends. If you ate one of her Danish pastries, you should consider yourself lucky as that was a prized recipe handed down from her mom. She also had a love of Disney characters and movies, with Mickey Mouse being her favorite. Sheryl had a passion for creating art including ceramics, crocheting, quilting, basket weaving and painting. Together with her mom and dad, they ran S&A Craft Gallery where they made their crafts for craft shows all over the state.
As the only daughter and growing up with 3 brothers, Sheryl learned early on to stand her ground with determination and to have quick wit in life. She was also a member of the Community of Christ since a young age and cherished her church family and the time with them. Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Doug Longstreet; niece, Heather (Longstreet) Zimmerman, and several aunts and uncles. We would like to express our sincere thank you to Maple Ridge of Lake City and Heartland Hospice for the care of our beloved Sheryl. We can never thank you enough for all that you did for her in her time of need.
