Shirley R. Snyder

Temple - Shirley R. Snyder, Lifelong resident of Temple, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her home. She was 85.

She was born on April 26, 1936, in Temple, Michigan to  Fred and Theo (McIntyre) Pruden. She entered into marriage on Jan 1, 1961 Clarence Snyder at the Temple Church.  She could often be found working puzzles, spending time with her family or loving on her dog, Hobo. 
 
Shirley is survived by her son, Ricky and Rebecca (Snyder) VanBuskirk; grandchildren, Jesse and Lance; great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Shawnta, Seirra, Santana, Levi, Karter; her brother, Clyde Pruden; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; twelve siblings, including her sister Donna Hilden just this past October; and one great-granddaughter, Jasmin.

Per her wishes cremation has taken place and private family services will take place at Fernwood Cemetery in Temple at a later date.
