Sue Ann (Miller) Stout

Sue Ann Stout, 69, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday May 13, 2025 at King Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Sue was born on June 29, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to Jack and Marion(Hoffman) Miller.  She grew up in the Flint area and graduated from Davison High School in 1973.  Sue worked as a Metallurgist for General Motors, Buick Division in Flint for many years.  On December 14, 1998 in Burton, Michigan Sue was married  to Thomas J  Stout. The couple moved to Houghton Lake from Davison in 2002.  Sue was a volunteer for Houghton Lake Community Schools, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.  She was also know to love her quite time at home.

Surviving Mrs. Stout are her son, Brandon Burgess of Houghton Lake;  sister, Laura Bower; two brothers, Dennis (Glycel) Miller, and Theodore Miller; six nieces and nephews.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents;and husband, Thomas J Stout. 

Funeral Services for Sue Ann Stout will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday May 19, 2025 from Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel with Pastor Jeff Tuttle officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Visitation will be held on Monday May 19, 2025 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel.  In Lieu of flowers, please take someone out to lunch and spend some time with family and friends, as Sue enjoyed.
