Tena Ann Quibell, of Tustin, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. She was 83.
Tena was born on March 6, 1942 in Roanoke, Virginia to George and Beulah (Hodges) Webster. In 1960, she entered into marriage with Raymond Dean Quibell in Lake Orion, Michigan. The couple met going on an ice cream date shortly after Dean returned home from the service, and the rest is history. Tena was an incredible mother, raising her three children and later spending time as much time as possible with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Tena was quite talented when it came to working on crafts, whether sewing, cross-stitching, or refurbishing dollhouses, she managed to create unforgettable pieces. In her spare time she could often be found putting together puzzles and going to bingo. She enjoyed spending time outside tending to her garden. Tena spent years working alongside her husband, restoring cars and even working on the upholstery on some of them. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.
Tena is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Dean Quibell of Tustin; children, Sherry Rader of Marion, Deanna (Ed) England of Tustin, and Bryon (Beth) Quibell of Florida; grandchildren, Raedean (Jeff) Bowe of Flint, Scott (Jamie) Rader of Alabama, Stephanie Quibell of Florida, and Dalton Quibell of Florida; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Beulah Webster; in-laws, Kenneth Ray and Orpha Thelma Quibell; and 8 siblings-in-law.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
